01 About
A specialism in the operational side of product content.
Not writing product copy, and not building systems. The work is the order in which content is produced, who is answerable for each part of it, and what has to be true before it goes live.
What the company does
Prodentra Catalog Workflows Ltd organises the processes around product content for companies with large ranges and several teams contributing to every update. That means defining how descriptions, specifications, images and the other parts of a product page are created, reviewed, approved, published and kept current, and stating who is answerable at each point.
The clients for this are the people who own catalogues in practice: e-commerce, product catalogue, content and operations managers in large companies. The service becomes necessary at the point where an update passes through a product team, editors, designers, technical contributors, managers and outside suppliers, and ownership, versions and the order of actions are not defined well enough for that to run smoothly.
How the work is framed
The starting point is always the process a client is running today, however informal it is. That gets written down, the undefined points are identified, and a sequence is set out with the conditions that let an item move on. Where a project needs images prepared, content formatted, catalogue records updated, pages built or a change implemented technically, those contributors are coordinated within the scope agreed for the work.
Alongside tailored projects, the company prepares ready-made digital materials: product content workflow frameworks, catalogue workflow structures, update request form and rule sets, and written instructions and other content management materials.
Everything is delivered digitally, and it works with ordinary, non-confidential business and product material. Factual product characteristics and commercial claims are confirmed by the client; anything missing is passed back as a question rather than filled in with an assumption.
What the company is not
- Not a software vendor. Request forms, version records and approval flows are documents and rules, and this is not a PIM, ERP or CRM platform.
- Not a provider of regulated, financial, legal, medical, cyber security or licensed services of any kind.
- Not a source of product facts. Specifications and claims come from the client and stay the client's responsibility.
- Not a product testing or compliance service. Content review covers the completeness and structure of a content package only.
This page deliberately says nothing about company history, team size, individual staff or past client projects. None of that has been supplied, and none of it is invented here.

A general description is enough for a first enquiry. We reply with the questions that have to be answered before any work can be scoped, and nothing is quoted until that is clear.
